Taqwa knowledge and beauty

It is reported that Abû Al-Dardâ – Allâh be pleased with him – said:
You will never be pious (a person of taqwâ) until you become knowledgeable, and you will never be beautiful with your knowledge until you act [by it].

Ibn Ábd Al-Barr, Jâmi’ Bayân Al-’Ilm wa Fadlihî article 1239.

AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR SEEKING KNOWLEDGE

Musadad ibn Musarhad narrated to us ; Abdullah ibn Dawud narrated to us ; i heard Asim ibn Raja ibn Hawwa narrated from Katheer ibn Qays who said, "i was sitting with Abu Ad Dardaa in the mosque of Damascus and a man came and said : "O Abu Dardah, i have come to you from the city of Allah's messenger (sallahualaihi wassalam) because of the hadeeth which i have heard that you narrated from Allah's messenger (sallahualaihiwassalam). i did not come for any other need. He said "then i heard Allah's messenger (sallahualiahiwassalam) say :

"whoever takes a path by which he seeks knowledge, then Allah, the mighty, the majesty, will cause him to be upon one of the paths leading to paradise; and the angels lower their wings in the pleasure at the one who seeks knowledge; as for the scholar then the inhabitants of the heavens seek forgivness for him, and the fish in the water; and the excellence of the scholar over the worshiper is like the excellence of the moon on the night when it is full over the rest of the stars: and the scholars are the inheritors of the prophet (alaihim as salam) for, the prophet (alaihi as salam) do not leave any dinars or dhirhams as inheritance ; they leave the knowledge as an inheritance; so whoever takes it, takes an abundance portion " (sunnan abi dawud)

    1. asalamualikum warahamathullahi wabarakathuhu... this is the answer to ur question brakallahufeeki...

      Fudhayl Ibn ‘Iyaad said:

“Associate with those who have good behavior, for they will only call you to goodness, and accompanying them brings comfort. As for ill-mannered persons, they only call to evil. Therefore, do not associate with them, so that you save yourself from their ill conduct. I prefer associating with a sinner who has good mannerism, to associating with a worshiper whose mannerism with people is unbecoming. Verily, the former type (the sinner who has good conduct in public) uses caution with people, who like him because he is easy going, while the latter, who has bad mannerism, is despised and disliked to people.”
