quotes of the pious

Taqwa knowledge and beauty

It is reported that Abû Al-Dardâ – Allâh be pleased with him – said:
You will never be pious (a person of taqwâ) until you become knowledgeable, and you will never be beautiful with your knowledge until you act [by it].

Ibn Ábd Al-Barr, Jâmi’ Bayân Al-’Ilm wa Fadlihî article 1239.

Speaking Truth is another important part of Islam about which Quran and Hadith has guided us several times. Allah loves those who speaks the truth and not only Allah but that a true person is also respected by the society. Lying not only can create problems in your life but is considered a big sin in Islam. Speaking the truth may trouble you for a short time but it saves you from the bigger trouble and for one lie you always have to speak more lies. A Muslim who has Emaan in his heart always speaks the truth and considers lying a curse. Speaking truth is the base of Good Character. Truth leads you towards heaven and lying leads you towards hell.

the prophet (salahualiwasallam) is reported to have said in bhukari :

إن الصدق يهدى إلى البر   وإن البر يهدى إلى الجنه

Verily, Verily The Truth Leads To Virtue,

And Virtue Leads To Heavens..

the prophet (salahualiwasallam) is reported to have said in bhukari :

آية المنافق ثلاث:    إذا حدث كذب   وإذا وعد أخلف   وإذا ائتمن خان

 The Signs Of A Hypocrite Are Three:

When He Speaks, He Lies;

And When He Makes A Promise, He Breaks It;

And When He Is Charged With A Trust, He Deceives.
the prophet (salahualiwasallam) is reported to have said in bhukari :

أربع إذا كن فيك فلا عليك ما فاتك من الدنيا:

حفظ الأمانه   وصدق حديث    وحسن خليقه    وعفة طعـمه

If You Have Four Qualities, You Should Not Worry About What You Missed In Life:

To Take Care Of The Trust,

To Speak The Truth,

To Have Good Manners, And

To Have Modest And Pure Food.

         Allah says :
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَكُونُواْ مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

O Believers, Have Fear Of Allah And Stand

With The Truthful.

(Surah   9:  Ayah  119)
